Nike Training Club: Even if you’re not close to your gym, or you’re taking a holiday from going to the gym, you can still get a full workout with this highly rated app. A library of over 190 free workouts led by Nike master trainers encompasses strength, endurance, yoga and mobility targeting your abs, arms, shoulders, glutes and legs. Headspace: Meditation is as restorative on holiday as it is in your busy, work-filled life. It helps you to relax, sleep better, focus on personal growth and practice mindfulness. Audible: If books are an essential part of your holiday, Audible will be too, because you can also listen while you drive, walk or relax on the beach. SkyGuru: This app for anxious flyers provides weather and turbulence forecasts for the route you’re flying, and detailed explanations of what’s happening on the flight in real time.

Eat Out: About 6000 restaurants throughout South Africa are on this platform, from burger joints, to fine dining. The app lets you find the options closest to your location, as well as book and review restaurants.

Medical and emergencies
SA Doctors: All the doctors, specialists and hospitals throughout South Africa, searchable by city, specialty or nearby. Handy if you are traveling, and far from your own doctor. The app can also route you to the doctor, no need for directions, and includes emergency numbers.

Symptomate: Are you worried you might be getting sick while on holiday?
