Life cover policy book

The life cover policy book contains important policy terms and conditions, including information on restrictions, waiting periods and exclusions, and should be carefully read by all policyholders.

Your policy may be referred to an underwriter or quality assurer to assess whether to issue the policy and at what premium rate. To qualify for certain cover types, the life assured will be required to go for an HIV test. 1Life reserve the rights to require the life assured to undergo certain/specific medical tests as may be deemed necessary to ensure correct risk is covered. The costs of such medical tests shall be borne by the life assured.

Note: this policy book also contains terms and conditions for dread disease cover, disability insurance, female dread disease cover and expense protector policies.

Funeral cover policy book

The funeral cover policy book contains important policy terms and conditions, including information on restrictions, waiting periods and exclusions, and should be carefully read by all policyholders.

Benefit can be paid out in 24 hours provided that 1Life has received all claims documents and they have been approved by our claims department.
