2006: Pure Life Cover
Our 1Lifedirect’s first product offering, Pure Life Cover, was launched. Disablement Cover and Dread Disease Cover were offered as optional extras to life cover policyholders.
2011: Investment Plan
In partnership with Sanlam Investment Management, 1Lifedirect launched Investment Plan, an affordable unit trust investment portfolio.
2012: Funeral Cover
In May 2012, 1Lifedirect Funeral Cover was launched - a unique funeral insurance for South African families. Policy features include a memorial benefit and repatriation services. 2012: Advisory Services
Launched in July 2012, 1Lifedirect Advisory Services offers 1Lifedirect policyholders and prospective client’s free financial advice on savings and insurance. An obligation-free needs analysis is done with you to determine what your shortfalls may be with regard to insurance cover and whether you have a savings shortfall. 2012: Disablement and Dread Disease Cover launched as standalone products
As of October 2012, 1Lifedirect's Disablement Cover and Dread Disease Cover product offerings became available to all potential clients and not just Pure Life Cover policyholders.
