Not only were we the first truly direct insurance company in South Africa we were also the first to sell life insurance online and on our mobi site. Our list of firsts does not end there. We were also the first life insurer to launch a USSD policy management service (*120*101#) for our policyholders and the first and only life insurer to introduce HIV testing via saliva swab instead of blood tests.
As an employer we are committed to skills development and have a clearly defined, well-implemented empowerment policy. In addition, we have achieved a level 5 Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) accreditation and have implemented a number of initiatives aimed at improving our BBBEE status.
