1.1 The campaign will run from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026.
- Campaign Rationale
2.1 The purpose of this campaign is to encourage HIV testing for clients with Elevated products to prevent policies from reverting to Accidental Death Benefit (ADB).
- Qualifying Criteria
3.1 The following products will form part of the campaign:
- All 1Life Elevated products and policies with an outstanding HIV test.
- Business Rules
4.1 The HIV test must be completed at participating Dis-Chem or Clicks pharmacies.
4.2 Staff policies will be included in the campaign.
4.3 Clients who have already completed their HIV test are excluded.
- How to Participate
5.1 A R50 Woolworths voucher will be loaded within 7 days of completing the test if you:
- Book your 1Life HIV test at Clicks or Dis-Chem.
- Have an active 1Life Life Elevated policy.
- Complete your test at one of our participating pharmacies.
5.2 Kindly note: There is no entry fee or purchase necessary to benefit from this campaign.
5.3 Your policy must be active when completing the HIV test.
- Participants
6.1 Will receive a R50 Woolworths voucher after completing the required HIV test.
6.2 Will not be able to transfer the voucher.
6.3 Can receive a maximum of one voucher per HIV test completed between 1 December 2025 and 31 January 2026.
6.4 By participating in this campaign, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- General Terms and Conditions
In addition to the terms stated in clauses 1–6 above:
a) Who Can Enter
You are entitled to participate in this campaign if you:
- Are a natural person who is at least 18 years old and has a valid South African ID document.
- Have an active 1Life Life policy.
- Have valid contact details.
- Are 1Life staff with a personal policy.
b) Use of Participant and Winner Information
- By participating in this campaign, you agree to subscribe to and receive newsletters from the Promoter. Any marketing material sent to you will include a clear opt-out option should you wish to unsubscribe.
- Winners agree to allow the Promoter and its associated companies to use their (i) photographs and (ii) participation details for marketing purposes. This includes granting permission for the Promoter to (a) take photographs and (b) publish names on the Promoter’s marketing platforms, including websites, newsletters, and social media accounts.
- Winners acknowledge that they will be given the opportunity to refuse any of the options stated above.
c) Unforeseen Events
- The Promoter and its associated companies, agents, and contractors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage, death, personal injuries, defamation, invasion of privacy, or claims based on publicity rights arising in connection with this campaign and/or campaign offer.
- The Promoter is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected entries, internet or computer malfunctions, errors in transmission, or any condition beyond its control that may cause the campaign to be disrupted or corrupted.
d) Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter, its agents responsible for administering the campaign, and the prize sponsors assume no responsibility and are not liable for:
(i) the accuracy of the prize description or illustration;
(ii) the non-availability, loss, interception, interference with, late receipt, or damage of any prize, notification, or communication;
(iii) any representation, warranty, condition, or guarantee in respect of any prize.
e) General Rules
- By participating in this campaign, you agree to all the campaign rules set out above, without exception.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence or negotiations will be entered into, except for the notification of winners through the website.
- If a participant contravenes these rules, the Promoter may, at its discretion, disqualify the participant from the campaign.
- Income taxes relating to the prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
- The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this campaign.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or alter any aspect of the campaign at any time at its sole discretion without liability.
- Participants understand and agree that, to offer the campaign, the Promoter must collect and use personal information about participants. This campaign is conducted under the terms of applicable privacy statements.
- These terms and conditions are subject to change at the Promoter’s discretion.
