Carltonville resident wins R100 000.00 to realise her lifelong ambition

Having spent the past sixteen years in the South African Police Service, Carltonville resident, Mrs Lucindi Oosthuizen, has seen it all. Horrific violence and abuse is something she has to deal with on a daily basis. Understandably she never wants her three young daughters to experience the trauma she has witnessed.

For this reason, Mrs Oosthuizen keeps a careful eye on her children, and they are therefore limited in terms of after school activities, such as taking a trip with friends to the municipality pool.

Mrs Oosthuizen's lifelong dream has always been to make her children as happy as they make her. Her dream was fulfilled this month thanks to the help of 1Lifedirect, South Africa's first fully direct life insurance provider.

For years my children have been begging me for a swimming pool and nfortunately, I have not had the money to provide one. Winning the 1Lifedirect lifelong dream competition means that I can now build a swimming pool in our garden and that I can rest assured in knowing that my children will be safe and protected.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think my lifelong dream would be fulfilled. It is a wonderful stroke of luck and we are all over-the-moon!" says Mrs Oosthuizen.
